It's just like the Master Sword, only a list. The source page has a funny story as well. |
Same to the Dungeon & Dragons games and some media.

Well hopefuppy DDO still exists by the time you get to it. I definitely enjoyed it when it first came out - it was certainly more story driven than many other mmorpgs.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Beans! Rejoice, for you receive double gil for being the first commenter on the blog!
DeleteI had the same thought when I put DDO on the list, I'm going to move it up into the "3rd edition" era games, and it will be a prime candidate for spending some gil after Planescape: Torment
I bought 'Knights of the Chalice' a long time ago and couldn't get past the first battle. It looked like an enjoyable game, but I became frustrated and shelved it. When I remembered it years later I realized I had lost the installer and never bought another copy.
ReplyDeleteD&D: Stronghold, if it's the city sim/management game that I'm thinking of, occupied more of my pre-teen time than any other video game, yet isn't really a strong game on its own. I guess something about it clicked with me, else I just didn't have as many games to play back then as I thought I did and valued each one moreso.
